Why see Chicago - The Band?

Chicago Is Back On The Road

One of the giants of American rock, Chicago are still going strong after half a century! The self-proclaimed 'Rock & Roll band with horns' produced hit after hit in the '70s and '80s, including the iconic ballad 'If You Leave Me Now', as well as 'Baby, What A Big Surprise' and 'Old Days'. Don't miss them live in 2024 as they hit the road!

Poetic then, that the only band they never outsold in their heyday was actually The Beach Boys. An unmissable double bill, Wilson will also be joined by BB co-founder Al Jardine and 70's member Blondie Chaplin.

Make me smile

Beautiful late May night outdoors at the Toledo Zoo Ampitheater. Chicago started their 1 intermission, 2 set, 1 encore performance, on time. Playing their 50 years of #1 hits to an appreciative older crowd, Chicago with many original members, had the house up and out of their seats and swaying to their favorites many times throughout the evening. The lead singer was great with a range that easily handled the vocal gymnastics needed for the diverse jazzy sound that has become signature CTA. The forms, percussion, guitars, keyboards, and backing harmonies, were a well oiled machine of true professionals who performed without gimmicks of wild stage sets, crazy light show, dancers, vocalizers, and click-track fillers. They play it straight and enthusiastically. They come across warm and genuine. Older guys, playing to an older crowd where those on stage and those in the audience shared an evening of memories. ... Chicago Better Than Ever Now!

We had the thrill of seeing Chicago again at the Louisville Palace on May 24, 2024 and they are now better than ever! They sang all of our favorite songs and we all really had a blast listening to and watching them. This is the go-to place for a wonderful audience, environment and seating! Definitely take Mom and well-behaved kids! ... Read more

Chicago Ovation Hall Atlantic City

Chris was amazing!!!!! Not enough Steve Vai!!!!!!! Neil did all 3 vocals and was a formidable replacement. Although Judith Hill is an excellent singer, I just think Chris would've been the one chosen to sing "Color My World" to keep it original-ish. VoicePlay made a great addition, but Robin Thicke needs the boot! The 3 original are still amazing and played and sang their hearts out! The concert served as a poignant reminder to me of Terry Kath's immense talent and the profound impact he had on the music world. His legacy lives on, not just in the continued popularity of Chicago's music but also in the hearts of fans worldwide who continue to cherish his music and his memory. ... Read more
